Greve - Henry

This community was again shocked on Tues. morning by the death  of Henry Greve, who was found dead in his bed on what is known as  the Evans farm, north of town. His son, Wilford and Arthur  Wrightsman had gone to the place about 6:30 to help him haul some  straw. As he was not about, Arthur went into the house and found  him. It is supposed he had been dead about 3 hours. Death was  caused by heart disease. Mr. Greve was born in Douglas Co, Ill  March 19, 1869 and was the son of Thomas and Katherine Greve. He  marr. Miss Anna Elsobe Heit Nov 23, 1893. They have 4 sons:  Raymond and Wilford of this place;  Arnold H. of Anderson and Emil of  New Market. They moved to this community in 1919. A short funeral  service was held at the home on Wed morning by Rev. J.B. Johnson.  The body was then taken to Garrett, Ill for burial by the side of  Mrs. Greve [Anna Elsobe Heit] who died June 6, 1926. - typed by kbz
